What is UL 945 ?

UL 942 is a widely recognized standard for the flammability ratings of materials used in electrical enclosures. It sets out specific criteria for determining the ratings of these materials based on their resistance to ignition, flame spread, and self-extinguishing properties. The standard is particularly important for manufacturers to ensure that their products meet strict safety requirements.

UL 943, also known as the Standard for Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs), is a professional technical standard that provides safety requirements for electrical devices used to protect people from electric shock hazards. The standard is essential for preventing accidental electrocution in situations where contact with water or other conductive materials is likely.

UL 942 and UL 943 are both important standards that help ensure the safety and functionality of electrical devices. By obtaining UL 942 and UL 943 certification, companies can demonstrate their commitment to producing high-quality, fire-resistant electrical enclosures and protecting people from electric shock hazards.
